Corporate events as part of employer branding

The work of lawyers always requires concentration and vigilance. You have to pay attention to every detail and word written in contracts, analyses, research, etc. That is why it is important for us as a company to be able to relax as a team. This helps to distract from routine tasks, relieve tension, and, most importantly, get to know people better. At Manimama Law Firm, we have long since abandoned the template approach to corporate events. We do not do team building for the sake of it. We create experiences that people want to remember.


Woodstock Fest: Manimama corporate event

This summer, we held a corporate event in a format that sounds like a challenge — an online festival in the style of Woodstock. The team was in different parts of the world, but that didn’t prevent us from creating a unified vibe.

Everyone prepared an atmospheric background — from psychedelic posters to bonfires on the Zoom background. Everyone dressed in 70s style: floral prints, headbands, glasses, a little irony, a little wine, and we were ready to go.

The program included:

“2 truths and 1 lie” to remind us that lawyers can bluff too;

the creation of Manimama Law Firm totem animals;

a final quiz that combined intellect, internal memes, and a bit of absurdity, just as we like it. 

Formally, it was Zoom. In reality, it was a full-fledged event that is still remembered as an opportunity to meet new colleagues, discover various secrets about employees’ personal lives, and much more.


Details that shape culture

For us, these meetings are not a break from work or an attempt to “balance corporate routine.” They are a continuation of the same dialogue we have every day: a dialogue about trust, respect for personal space, and a culture where humanity is not secondary but central. At Manimama Law Firm, you don’t have to play the role of the “perfect colleague”; you just have to be yourself. And it is in such conditions that something stronger than just a team is born.

We don’t chase after “stormy emotions.” It is important to us that any event leaves a feeling of space, calm, and trust. After that, you don’t want to post for a show, but simply say “thank you” in a personal chat. 

At Manimama Law Firm, everyone remains themselves. Some people join in the discussion, some just listen, and some write powerful reflective comments after the meeting. And that’s okay. We don’t require active participation, but we create conditions in which you want to be truly present. That’s why even our online events feel like something alive.

Why all this? Because the legal business is about people.
